Are cell phone jammers available to the public? if so I would like some information on websites that sell some?

i would like some information on how cellphone jammers work. What frequencies they use. If these jammers work on current cell phones and if they are illegal to use.

    they are very illegal and dangerous..

    if you were foolish enough to jam cell phones, you would also jam police and fire communications. If something were to happen, you could be charged as an accessory to the crime.
