Is it ok to dropship a cell phone jammer and sell it online from a company based in China, but im from USA?

I want to sell the cell phone jammers online through ebay. However, I live in the U.S. and they are illegal. I will just put a disclaimer on the auction saying it is illeagl to possess in certain countries. The buyers information will be sent to a company in china and they will ship it to the customer. So i will have no possession of the item, it will just be dropshipped. Do you think this is legal in the U.S.? Thank you!
People are selling them on eBay already. And im not trying to ship into the u.s. Maybe just for countries where it is legal to posess one.

You asked: "…Is it ok to dropship a cell phone jammer and sell it online from a company based in China, but im from USA?…"

    No, it isn’t.

The jammers would never clear customs, eBay would take your auction down in a matter of minutes, and you could expect the Federal Trade Commission to come a’knocking.

Pick another product. Cell phone jammers will just land you in very hot water.

Yeah go ahead and sell advanced equipment to the Red Chinese in violation of the Commerce Act, and the Export Control Act.

If it doesn’t enter the country I would assume there are no tariffs.
But it will enter the country right?
You probably will have to pay income tax on it too.

The problem is, the phone jammer will be stopped at customs. How will you deal with your customer when they complain? It doesn’t matter if you put a disclaimer, you are still marketing an illegal item and you will get complaints.

Also, Ebay has already taken this into consideration. They state:

Customs could stop and seize the product at the … border, and the member could be fined or face other liability because of the seizure. Duties may also be imposed. Failure to pay these duties could cause the items to be stopped at the border.

The member could face other civil or criminal liability, depending upon the type of product involved.

In other words, you are responsible if you sell any item prohibited in the country you are selling in.
