It’s illegal to use, sell, or buy a cell phone jammer in the U.S.A. But i live in a dorm with other girls in a corner with a window and they like to come and sit outside my door and talk, cry, and yell at whom ever they are talking to on their cell phone at 3a.m. when in fact there are ten other empty lobbies designated for them to do this. If i ask them to leave they get angry and get louder. So, the only way to make them stop is to stop the reception in my area. I don’t mind it being available during the day so i was wondering if there us a machine i could simple turn on or off. Any suggestions?

Is it legal for a public school to jam cell phone signals on campus?
I live in a small town in AZ and i recently heard that the school board is planning on installing a cell phone jammer/damper to stop the use of cell phones on campus. Our schools policy until now has been lax and teachers just tell you to turn off your phone or put it away during class, but you can still use them in the halls and such. I was just wondering if its legal for them to block the use of cell signals on campus?

Do you ever have fake conversations on your cell phone?
One time I was at college and I was getting bored so I brought my cell phone jammer. I found out that most people had real conversations but then I was following this one girl out to her car (she didn’t notice me) and, even after repeatedly jamming her device, found out that she still kept talking as if there was another person on the other line. Can someone explain why people do this?

I already bought a cell phone jammer. Do you think it's a wrong to block the signals on annoying people??
I bought a portable cell phone jammer GTP1000 from www.grandtrades.net & it works perfectly well. I no longer have to listen to all the annoying discussions people make at a the movies & at last I can have some peace of mind & enjoyment at a restaurant. I only use it with people who keep talking too long. As well as lectures where I don’t have to listen to a phone ring every few seconds.
I believe it’s my right to simply stop annoying people within a few feet from me as long as they lack the common courtesy it’s as if I’m protecting my personal space from intruders who pay no attention to others.
And to those people concerned about emergency calls etc. I believe if someone wants to make an emergency call, he can simply walk away a few meters (from the range of the jammer) & the signal will be fine. Ofcourse if it’s a general emergency I will be turning off the jammer.
I need other people’s feedback on this issue.
